The conditions for the use of LBS grooves are as follows:

(1)The flange of the drum must be vertical to the drum wall under any conditions, even when there is a load;

(2) In order to avoid the phenomenon of "job hopping" or "Deviation", the steel wire rope must keep enough pulling force, so that the wire rope can be kept close to the groove surface. When the condition is not satisfied, the wire rope pressure roller should be added.

(3)The rope angle is best kept at 0.25゜to 1.25 °, the maximum not more than 1.5゜, as this condition is not satisfied, you must use the fleet angle compensator to correct.

(4) When the wire rope is released from the drum to the fixed pulley, the width of the center of the fixed pulley must be connected with the width of the flange.

(5) The rope must be kept loose and round, even at maximum load.

(6) the rope must be anti rotation.
